Joe Mike Udo-Offiong popularly known as Joe Mike is a Nigerian songwriter, choirmaster, and musicologist. Mike began his gospel music career at a tender age, probably in the 90s, and dedicated most of his years to writing choir songs and contemporary hymns.
Joe Mike's songs became very popular in the southern part of Nigeria, especially for orthodox churches that sing choral hymns and anthems.
Joe Mike is well known through his Apostolic church congregants where he spent most of his time directing the choir. As the case might be for most people of his category, his career has been more like a voluntary service making him not to gain much copyright or financial accreditations for his works.
In 2016, decided to advance his music career where he got admission to study music at the prestigious University of Uyo, Nigeria, and graduated in 2020. He has written hundreds, if not thousands of songs, both in English and his native dialect (Efik/Ibibio).
